The recipe of this speculoos is also based on our family recipe from 1924. Just like for our original speculoos, we use only the best organic ingredients: real butter, carefully selected spices and wheat from farmer Thibault. To this basic recipe, we add premium organic hazelnuts, 100% from farmer Federico. We show you his picture on our packaging and share his story below.

The best hazelnuts in the world are grown in Piedmonte, Italy. And that's exactly where Federico grows his organic hazelnuts. Only 1400 hazel trees on a small hill… Day and night Federico takes care of his orchard. And you can taste the difference: big, moist and sweet hazelnuts. They add an extra crisp to our Belgian speculoos.
